One of the employees stole a hat that I left at my table after telling me they would keep it safe for me to pick up the next day :I accidentally left a hat at my table. I called later to see if they could hold on to it so I could pick it up the next day. They said they found the hat and it would be kept for me to pick up. I arrived the next day, and no one could find the hat. After speaking with two managers, one finally admitted the person I spoke to lied about putting it in the managers office, because they wouldn't have had the key to do so, and no manager knew of this.Food was okay, but don't leave anything here, because they will take it and lie to you about it.
First time at a GB and many if the beers are really good. Nice that we could taste before choosing. Swartzbier and Belgium Triple were my favorites. Also tasted the Fest beer and the Marzen. The food selection was not overly impressive. They should offer cheap soft pretzels that are salty. Goes great with beer! Bartender was helpful and friendly yet not too chatty. Bathroom was clean. Will definitely be there again, happy hour is really a happy time there. Have already recommended this place to friends
Went during this current pride/labor day season. The pizza and wings was delicious and great drinks,I had the beer nice and strong.Trendy and youthful atmosphere, clean and bunch of tvs to watch sports.Wait staff freindly and professional. Waiter could have came to the table just a little bit more but they where very nice!
The apps we're great the ribeye not so much. Great beer, great service and really great food just not my steak. Everything thing else was on point.
Amazing Salmon sandwich and egg rolls. Highly recommended the Ole Smokey Blackberry Moonshine. $3.00 beers in the evenings as well. Great location and service.
Had to wait for table! Host staff said that kitchen was behind. But when we were seated drinks and food was great! Ryan our server was very good.
OK but not great. Food was overpriced for what it was. I got the Beach Tacos which was $10 for 3 tacos. They were really small and hardly had any fish in them, so not much flavor. Other than that it was relatively fresh though. Servers were nice and fairly attentive though.
Had a company reunion there. Great service, pool tables, the largest connect 4 and jenga games I've ever seen. Good food. Lots of parking. Our server took great care of the large group.
Great service. Nice atmosphere. Good food, good beer and the parking is free.
Came here on a work lunch and from the ambiance to the tea to the comfortable booth benches, it was already a winner. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and drinks were amazing. Will definately be back.
Great (beer) selection, spectacular food and great service at reasonable, for the area, prices. Try the cajum pasta!
The atmosphere is great but the food that I ordered (Chicken Schnitzel) was mediocre, would not recommend. The garlic fries can be a little too much.. to where it’s only the garlic you taste. Maybe other food options would’ve been good but I will not be coming back again.
Good place for a bite and brew. The Czech Pilsener was perfectly in style and the Maerzen tasty. I don't like brewery chains but Gordon Biersch has a leg up on other chains.
Wonderful staff. Great beer and 4 pool tables.
Excellent Czech. Pilsner! We came here for Valentine’s Day and had the cheese curd appetizer, sirloin steak, lobster and shrimp mac & cheese entrées. Great service-great food!
Great place for lunch or dinner! Extensive beer, wine and alcohol options. Staff was very friendly and service was quick!
I went there for dinner. The service was excellent, burger was exactly as I ordered, medium rare and beer was really good. I would go back again.
I have frequented this place for years. Staff has its ups and downs but the food is always good, parking is easy and they have a patio area. The inside is huge with pool tables available. They are a brewery and keep a good beer selection on the menu. Nothing fancy, just quality & convenience.
Most of the reviews were spot on. Wings are pretty good. Waiter was nice. Drinks are average. I gave it 3 stars mainly because of our waiter. I suppose it's a hit or miss kind of place. Either that or you're a regular and already know what to stay away from.
Good food ,special sweet potato fries i love it🤤 ,delicious salads 🥗 and wings, friendly atmosphere. l would highly recommend this place 💯❗️
Great atmosphere and better food than I would have thought being a big beer pull. Had the ribeye, which was very good. Appetizers were good as well. Great for work events or group of friends. TV's and pool tables.
My wife brought guests from out of town. Waited 45 minutes for a to go order. Burgers were literally CHARRED. Fish taco tasted like cold garbage (it was literally like a cold fish stick in a tortilla, absolutely terrible) and the server didn’t even come check on her AT ALL after the initial order was placed. Thanks for giving such a crappy first impression of Atlanta, really appreciate it guys. Out of town guests said it was one of the worst restaurant experiences they have EVER had.
The food was delicious — really no complaints. I got a mojito from the bar that was kind of weak but still very tasty. And the flight of beer is really cheap! $5 for 5, plus the waiter added in a complimentary 6th since it was his favorite. Great service and great food.
I stopped in for a quick bit ordered a burger with no cheese. However it came out with chees. I sent it back so the correction could be made. The burger came back out fast rge took the cheese off and just flipped the burger over. Maybe I ordered it with no cheese for a reason. This is my second time here and the first time I received horrendous service. Smh terrible
Slow service even though they were not crowded. Cesar salad showed up with no dressing or so little the lettuce was dry. I spoke to the server and she said she would bring more dressing and that people all day had been asking for more dressing. Seems like the kitchen could have corrected that. We had to request that our water glasses were refilled. Chicken wings were over cooked. Overall not a place where I would rush back.
Hubby and I went here to celebrate our 2 year wedding Anniversary. Great food and plenty of ambience. Sampled a few of the German beers; ordered the Triple something....it was great. Lindsey was our server.....she was the BEST. Definitely going back.
Love the beer and food selection. There’s something for everyone!
Nice restaurant... service was good and food was delicious. Temperature in the restaurant was a bit warm and muggy like the a/c wasn't working well.
My husband and I visited this place for dinner and it was fantastic! We started off with the calamari which was perfect. My husband really enjoyed his Kobe burger. I had a taste and he was right about it being the best burger he has ever had out at a restaurant. I enjoyed my seafood Cobb salad with jalapeno ranch dressing. The service was great. This will not be the last time we done here!
Ash at the bar is an awesome person. I stopped there by chance on my way in to town. She is so special, I went out of my way to stop and see her on my way out of town too. Excellent customer service!!! Beyond expectations!!!
Great service! Seafood Cobb salad was the best, burgers are great, lettuce wraps good too. I would not recommend the coconut shrimp appetizer or the shrimp tacos.. disappointing.
A room was cordoned off for a retirement party and a small buffet was offered. Excellent facility, modern, clean and parking available. It's in a strip shopping center and easy to access. Nice place to plan an event.
I recently visited this restaurant with family and I was welcomed by the hostess. My party of 5 was promptly seated and given a while to look the menu over. I ordered the pan fried chicken with mash patotes and a vegetable dish, which was squash/ onions. The meal was nice and everyone was served at the same time. But, because my food was somewhat cold it really took away from the dish. I'm not normally one to make a huge fuss and tell them to try again because I'm a chef and I hate doing things over...we all do but that's why it equaled out to the average of 4stars. I would try them again down the line.
Been there twice. The food and the beer is good enough. First visit, our server had disdain for us. Second server was lovely.
We were seated and nobody attended more than 15 minutes. We took another seat and have been able to get a waiters attention after 5 minutes. Our order took another 25 minutes. If the place was crowded, I would have understood but...The food was good and delicious but the portion served as a main dish was far from enough. I had to order fries to feel full. Tiny dish, tiny portion, alot of wait... Not value for money for a lunch stop. Looks like they have a lot of beer options and plenty televisions playing different sport channels. Might be good for a few drinks and side dishes along with your drink.
Great beer, service & atmosphere. Get the apple dessert thingy.
The Cajun fish tacos and mashed potatoes were great. The tacos come with the filling inside of a blue corn hard tortilla, which is inside of a flour soft tortilla. Even though they are largely focused on their brand of beer, they have liquors like Crown Royal Apple that most places don't have in my experience. The service was great as well.
Great food, get the legendary fries... laid back atmosphere.. Slow for an early Saturday evening. Waitstaff is very attentive.
Place closed permanently as of 3/24 without giving the employees a heads up. They were called into an 8am meeting this morning where the news was delivered. If anyone can help assist in finding these hardworking folks a job, it would be appreciated.
Great spot for a drink and meet up. In house brew. Pleasabt staff. Quick service. Outdoor patio with fireplace. Plenty of bar seats and spacious indoors. All in all a great place. Food is delicious too.
I was really disappointed. We asked for medium on my husband's steak and my salmon. What we got would be considered rare at best. Bloodiest steak, the inside of my salmon was still cold. I have never received such severely under cooked food before. The waiter was really nice and understanding about everything, the manager seemed very annoyed with us; as if we were the problem and not the food. I worked food service before, both as a cook and as a waitress - I know what medium looks like. I have never felt the need to have an item removed from my bill so this was a first. We didn't even end up eating here, we went somewhere else.
Friendly staff. Quiet atmosphere. Great food.
Like most other reviewers here, I absolutely loved the garlic fries that came with my BBQ bacon cheeseburger. That was great as well, even when I re-heated a portion for lunch the next day. It's a brewery, so get the beer to drink. I didn't, and ended up with a super sweet cocktail (strawberry soda I believe). Pretty good service as well. I would definitely come back.
Went in to order chicken spätzle, and the lemon was extremely overpowering. The sauce was non-existent. The chicken was extremely crispy, with no seasoning. I was hoping it would bring be back to Germany, however, it did not. Then ordered the shrimp and lobster tacos, whenever I did taste the shrimp and lobster it was decent. It came with garlic fries and it was loaded with garlic. I dont mind garlic but it was soggy. I would not recommend to eat here, unless you’re eating it with the beer.
Atmosphere was pretty nice. Low lit with booths along the wall and tables in the middle. They have a pool table in the back of the restaurant. It was not very busy, we went on a Saturday night. Our server was nice, but not attentive at all. She only checked on us once. I had to ask another waiter to refill my tea for me. The food was mediocre at best. My husband's ribeye was ordered medium and came out blood red. Cole slaw didn't have much flavor. Coconut shrimp appetizer was overcooked. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was partly soggy and had little flavor. The tarter sauce was good and the homemade chips were tasty. We also had spaetzle with crimini mushrooms, which was really bad. It was dry and tasteless. I wouldn't recommend it.
Waiter Charles has excellent service......the southwest egg rolls are amazing....Bbq chicken slider also amazing....garlic fries to die for..... Wonton nachos so goooooooodddddd....margarita mouth watering ....can not go wrong with anything you order...👍🏾
Had am awesome dinner, great beer and our server Mason was great. They brew in house some traditional German beer. My favorite was the Belgian Triple, it was very true to the style. My steak was cooked perfect and tasted amazing. My wife got the apple bread pudding and said it was the most amazing she's had in a long time. We will go back for sure when in Atlanta!!!
Decent tasting food, but PAINFULLY slow service! Arrived at 1pm for lunch with my girlfriend, ordered burgers and a beer at 1:05 and received neither until 1:50. 45 minute wait for a beer? That's completely unacceptable when there weren't even 3 other tables seated in the entire resturant. Do not go here if you are on ANY kind of time-sensitive schedule-- they have ZERO sense of urgency!
